Description
The little stream that runs through the north side of our property. It's definitely harder to get around now that it's spring. I found it was easiest just to walk right up the stream itself.
All those branches across the stream are not nature-made - the power company came in the fall and cut down a bunch of the trees and a bunch of limbs they thought were too close to the lines, and then just left them. I really want to go down there now with a hand saw and get the branches out of the way of the stream.
I finally went down with my tripod so I could practice getting long exposure day shots. I need one of those lens filters to block out light!

Nice, calm shot.
I so love the greens of Spring.
The long exposure gives the water a nice, glazed look. Seems like a shot that could be equally well in black and white.

I first read the title as "Spring Steen".
I love how glossy the water looks from the long exposure.

Rockin' in the woods?
I love long exposure water. But I need more practice.
