Maplefang enjoys talking to others and would never turn a blind-eye to any cat in need. He always wants to know what is wrong when he can tell if a cat is distressed or down. Making friends is always his top priority so he will show kindness to any cat he meets.

Though it may seem unlikely, Maplefang is a very clever tom. Hunting is his strongest trait and uses his clever strategies in catching all types of prey. During battle as well, Maplefang can find gaps which to escape or find weak points in his enemy. Also he can find different ways to sneak up on large predators to scare them away with ease.

Maplefang is always so cheerful in hopes that he can make others feel cheerful as well. Even on days where he isnt as cheerful himself, he will always find a way to push that aside to make others feel happy. This keeps Maplefang going, keeping in his mind there is always a better tomorrow. He can find the best of any situation to turn a bad one to a good one.

Maplefang is a very energetic and not very mature tom. He still acts like a kit and prefers to play games rather than go on patrols. |Prior to Birth|

Peachpelt, a beautiful, elegant she-cat, fell in love with another clan cat. When she became pregnant with her first litter, the tom she loved left her for another who had also mated with and was expecting kits. Fearing her clan would not accept her, the she-cat fled Breezeclan and made a home for herself in an abandoned fox den. There she gave birth to four healthy kits.

|Kitten|

Maplekit, a cheerful and playful little kit, never let the mean words of his siblings get to him loved to play hunting games. Along with his siblings, he was closest to one in particular, Mistykit. They were closer than any two siblings could get, even closer. Mistykit always stood up for her runt brother and loved him dearly. They shared stories and their hopes and dreams. Sadly, Mistykit passed away from greencough that leaf bare, leaving Maplekit depressed and alone. Not eating, hardly sleeping, and not speaking a word to his family, the small kit nearly perished the coldest nights of leaf bare, till visited in his dream by his kit sister. She told him to be strong and push on for her, to follow their shared dreams till the end. From then on, Maplekit pushed on, becoming stronger for his dearly departed sister. Soon enough, the kits mother declared them apprentices and began to teach them the way of being a warrior.

|Apprentice|

Maplepaw, an intelligent and strong tom, he escalated above his two siblings in hunting and in medicine cat knowledge. At this age, he began to grow close to his second sister, Shallowpaw. Though he knew he would never be able to share as much to his second sister, he still grew attached to where her death shook him to the core. One heated afternoon in newleaf, Maplepaw and Shallowpaw went out to hunt for their family. While doing so, Shallowpaw was bitten by a snake, but neglected to tell her brother, wrapping it in cobwebs and playing it off as a branch scrape. As they made their way back, Shallowpaw collapsed in a gasping furry. Maplepaw watched in terror as his sister convulsed violently. Shakily and in gasps, Shallowpaw apologized to her brother for not telling him sooner, she just didnt want him to worry, she didnt want him to watch her die. Saying all this, Maplepaw sobbed over his painfully fading sister. With her finally requests made, he had to do the most dreaded thing to his most loved family member, he killed her, painlessly. Maplepaw pressed his forehead to his limp sister, muttering her good-bye before carrying her back to his mother and brother. Giving the news, Peachpelt, his own mother... blamed it all one him. Spitting in his face, lashing harsh words at him, she blamed the death of his sister Mistykit on him, called him a murderer for what he had done to Shallowpaw, and all he could do, was listen. A hatred for his brother had already a risen before the death of his sister, for a reason he never shares and wishes not to speak ever about, and as his own brother, agreed to his mother, it showed how terrible he could be. That night, sleeping next to his sisters grave, Honeypaw asleep in the den, their mother vanished quickly, leaving not a trace. Honeypaw vowed to his brother he would return in three days time, and if not, he would return home, home to Breezeclan in hopes they would forgive him and take him in. On the fifth day, a two day delay, Maplepaw gave up all hope and returned to Breezeclan, a weary and depressed cat. Once arriving, guided by his sisters, he changed his attitude completely, becoming the cheerful cat he is now.

Now a warrior, Maplefang lived happily in the Breezeclan camp. Though he does seems happy and cheerful at all times, he sometimes remembers his past and his beloved sisters and they visit in his dreams, but he keeps his composure and keeps on for them. As his years rolled on as living in the Breezeclan camp, he met many wonderful cats within his clan and within other clans. One in particular that struck him most, was a handsome tom names Stormchaser. He was a kind and strong tom from Shadeclan. It was in an instant that Maplefang fell in love with the tom and not much later, they became mates. Maplefang loved Stormchaser, but it wasnt long before it all came crashing down. Stormchaser, already a deputy, was now becoming the leader of Shadeclan. At this fact, Stormstar, as he was renamed, left Maplefang. But the tom understood, his beloved mate had more important factors than a Breezeclan tom to care for. Maplefang was depressed after this happening. He would mostly lie around the camp or in the territory, not doing much but watch the clouds role by as he suffered from this heart break. One day, Maplefang, trying to defeat his depression, decided to go on a walk through the territory and eventually found a butterfly. It had beautiful silvery wings and of course Maplefang began to chase it. With this, the tom stumbled into Cloudclan territory where he met, Poppytail. Poppytail was a very handsome tom, with bright green eyes that caught Maplefang in an instant.

{Before the Great Journey}The two toms bonded quickly, and soon they were best friends. But there was something more that Maplefang felt for the tom. As so easily as the other times, he fell for Poppytail and caught the bravery to ask the tom to be his mate. Happily, Poppytail agreed and the two became inseparable. As the days rolled by, they would always meet each other at the boarder and talk about what was going on and what happened after they left one another. At some times, Maplefang would help comfort his mate, as the tom was going through some rough spots at the time. Not much later after the two toms became mates, the clans began to go through a rough time. Prey was scarce and the land was near death. Many cats lost their lives and one day, an announcement was made all clans would move together to find a new place to where they could call their homes.

{During The Great Journey}Maplefang was surprisingly reserved for most of the journey of the clans, not saying much to his clan mates in fear he may slip up and say something wrong. He would still have a few light conversations but spent most of his time going off to hunt. He wanted to do anything possible to protect the clan that had done so much for him. He saw many of his clan mates fall, but he would never forget them. There was a particular moment near the beginning of the Great Journey that Maplefang saw the fall of his last living family... Honeystorm was found by Maplefang, lying next to his still mate. It had been a fox attack and while Honeystorm had chased the beast away, it had already done its damage. Honeystorm gave his final good-bye to his brother, and passed. Maplefang was crushed, mostly causing how reserved he was during the move, and he didnt really have anyone to talk to about it. For the rest of the journey Maplefang felt as if his heart had crumbled inside his chest. He had no one left, no one that he knew of at least.

{After the Great Journey} The journey was long and rough on all the cats, but it was all worth it when finally, after so many moons of traveling, the clans arrived to a wonderful and beautiful land that was perfect for their new homes. Maplefang could remember the beautiful view of the clans new homes and finally for moons, slept a full night in what would be their new camp. Maplefang had never stopped thinking about Poppytail the entire journey, it had been a long time since the two had last seen one another and wasnt even sure if the tom had made the journey. Days went by and the thought hung heavily on the tom`s chest, would he ever see Poppytail again?

{After Braving the Storm}Moons had passed and the clans finally had settled in. Territories were settled and everything was calming down. There were a few occurrences during leaf-bare when a series of barn animal escaped but other wise it was far better than what it was before. Maplefang had accustomed his memory to the new territory of Windclan, where the best napping places were, where the most butterflies gathered, he was content. One afternoon, while taking a stroll, Maplefang spotted a familiar figure in the distance. Raising his head, he breathed in and caught a familiar scent. It was, Poppytail! He couldnt believe it and approached the resting tom cautiously, making sure he was not mistaken. It was really him! Finally, Maplefang and his love were finally reunited and make the effort to visit one another as frequently as possible.

But the tom understood, his beloved mate had more important factors than a Breezeclan tom to care for. Maplefang was depressed after this happening. He would mostly lie around the camp or in the territory, not doing much but watch the clouds role by as he suffered from this heart break. One day, Maplefang, trying to defeat his depression, decided to go on a walk through the territory and eventually found a butterfly. It had beautiful silvery wings and of course Maplefang began to chase it. With this, the tom stumbled into Cloudclan territory where he met, Poppytail. Poppytail was a very handsome tom, with bright green eyes that caught Maplefang in an instant.

{Before the Great Journey}The two toms bonded quickly, and soon they were best friends. But there was something more that Maplefang felt for the tom. As so easily as the other times, he fell for Poppytail and caught the bravery to ask the tom to be his mate. Happily, Poppytail agreed and the two became inseparable. As the days rolled by, they would always meet each other at the boarder and talk about what was going on and what happened after they left one another. At some times, Maplefang would help comfort his mate, as the tom was going through some rough spots at the time. Not much later after the two toms became mates, the clans began to go through a rough time. Prey was scarce and the land was near death. Many cats lost their lives and one day, an announcement was made all clans would move together to find a new place to where they could call their homes.

{During The Great Journey}Maplefang was surprisingly reserved for most of the journey of the clans, not saying much to his clan mates in fear he may slip up and say something wrong. He would still have a few light conversations but spent most of his time going off to hunt. He wanted to do anything possible to protect the clan that had done so much for him. He saw many of his clan mates fall, but he would never forget them. There was a particular moment near the beginning of the Great Journey that Maplefang saw the fall of his last living family... Honeystorm was found by Maplefang, lying next to his still mate. It had been a fox attack and while Honeystorm had chased the beast away, it had already done its damage. Honeystorm gave his final good-bye to his brother, and passed. Maplefang was crushed, mostly causing how reserved he was during the move, and he didnt really have anyone to talk to about it. For the rest of the journey Maplefang felt as if his heart had crumbled inside his chest. He had no one left, no one that he knew of at least.

{After the Great Journey} The journey was long and rough on all the cats, but it was all worth it when finally, after so many moons of traveling, the clans arrived to a wonderful and beautiful land that was perfect for their new homes. Maplefang could remember the beautiful view of the clans new homes and finally for moons, slept a full night in what would be their new camp. Maplefang had never stopped thinking about Poppytail the entire journey, it had been a long time since the two had last seen one another and wasnt even sure if the tom had made the journey. Days went by and the thought hung heavily on the tom`s chest, would he ever see Poppytail again?

{After Braving the Storm}Moons had passed and the clans finally had settled in. Territories were settled and everything was calming down. There were a few occurrences during leaf-bare when a series of barn animal escaped but other wise it was far better than what it was before. Maplefang had accustomed his memory to the new territory of Windclan, where the best napping places were, where the most butterflies gathered, he was content. One afternoon, while taking a stroll, Maplefang spotted a familiar figure in the distance. Raising his head, he breathed in and caught a familiar scent. It was, Poppytail! He couldnt believe it and approached the resting tom cautiously, making sure he was not mistaken. It was really him! Finally, Maplefang and his love were finally reunited and make the effort to visit one another as frequently as possible.
