The creature lacks feline characteristics. But i think it's an interesting way to take this concept.

Thats the idea, I wanted to imply that the creature is not really a lion with a scorpion tail and wings, But because its general appearance resembles that of a lion, its description has been exaggerated and altered by local mith and folclore.
