Description Inspired by Godspeed You! Black Emperor's music, namely the song "Providence" off of f#a#(infinity symbol). If you're a music junkie and love music that's different and eerie, I highly recommend it. GYBE is one of my favorite groups, there will probably be more art inspired by them in the future.

Its the first thing I've drawn in a while that wasn't expressly intended to be sold at cons... and I really enjoyed doing it. The idea had been sitting around in my head and sketchbook for a while, and I finally got around to doing something with it.

No-name character, indeterminate gender, so don't ask. ^^

Done in sharpie marker, with the blacks tweaked a bit in PS.

Love it. Love them.

I am not surprised that you were inspired by "Providence".

Godspeed is awe-inspiring.

Indeed. <3 My brother got me into their music, then I realized I'd heard Providence in 28 days Later. XD

It happened something similar to me, though it wasn't my brother. I had a friend from Chicago who was studying in Italy for a few months, during that time we live in the same apartment. He introduced me to Godspeed about three years ago, but I didn't realised Providence was used on "28 days" until a few months ago.

Indeed I had seen the movie before, but it was a kind of revelation out of the blue, you know when you got something in front of your eyes but for some inexplicable reason you never noticed it?

Oh that came out lovely! Traditional art inking, and alot of it I see, which appears to be a style I think I've seen before. Cool concept!

Very nice, excellent work on this. Love the love the contrast gives it, and you did a fantastic job with the details.

That's an awesome use of a sharpie o_O Kind of looks like the character is on a run-down train or bus. I like!
