Description
This is a new version of my very first Star Trek digital design, back in Decembre 2004. I made a new version in 2018 but I felt it was time to apply my improved skills and experience to revisiting this one again.
In-universe, the Icarus was the prototype for a replacement class to the Constitution, but due to many development issues, technical difficulties and changing politics, it was abandoned in favour of the Ambassador project. However, the prototype herself had a long and illustrious career.
