Arlyn-Anari [2008-03-20 22:04:16 +0000 UTC]

I'm currently using this CSS, and I must say, it's by far my best one yet!

I was just wondering where the comments and previous journal entry links have gone? I tried removing the position; none; thingy under both of those, and it shows up in the preview of the journal, but not the journal itself... Anything else I could do to make it appear?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arhcamt In reply to Arlyn-Anari [2008-03-23 15:54:45 +0000 UTC]

thank you! hmm i think you should remove the "visibility: hidden" line from the comment part if i'm not mistaken.

Arlyn-Anari In reply to arhcamt [2008-03-23 17:24:14 +0000 UTC]

Did. Seems to work alright now, at least on my homepage. Not on the journal page itself though. Might be hidden underneath some features or something though. Thanks for the help!

Wow, I have fallen in love with this css. I am currently using it, hope you don't mind. The one thing I must ask about though, is the comments and previous journal links at the bottom are not working.

They currently say display: none;. When I delete that, they are displayed but not linked... is there anyway to fix this?

[[OMG!! this is offically the longest comment I have ever written!!]]

arhcamt In reply to knibbler [2008-03-23 16:27:03 +0000 UTC]

really? removing the display line should have made it worked. have no idea if it doesn't, i'm afraid

thanks anyways, i've kinda moved on from that problem now but I am still happily using your css.

ah,
i absolutely fell in LOVE with this immediately and knew I was going to want to use it... and, i don't know if it's because my journals will just always be too long, but i've been fooling around for almost an hour now trying to find my error as to why it's just not working properly
*sighhh*

and this is just too brilliant to let you, but too amazing to have go all screwed up when you dreated something so wonderful, either. so, anything thoughts as to why it's all messed up. i've checked everything about a million times over; about the only conclusion i can come to is that my entries are just giong to be too long that it ruins what you've created.

but gosh this is incredible

ahh really?? what happened???

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

carvingbackbone In reply to arhcamt [2008-01-12 04:14:41 +0000 UTC]

welp, i had it up for a couple days, and then changed it 'cause it was silly -- but instead of the links, clubs, stamps etc, being on the left "column" so-to-speak and then the main text of the journal start right at the top of the page, it was like i had alllllllll the things on the left side, and all this big blank black space and then FINALLY after all the left column was finished, the journal text would start.

i fiddled with it for the longest time to get them side-by-side and start where it should, but no luck i might try again here soon, but for now i'm just sticking with an old cheap one ((whoops, no offense to the one i have)) but, thanks for checking in

arhcamt In reply to carvingbackbone [2008-01-13 15:43:59 +0000 UTC]

ahh i have no idea how it got to be that way..
maybe you missed or got extra div there. hehe. anyway glad you like it.

carvingbackbone In reply to arhcamt [2008-01-13 16:06:48 +0000 UTC]

i've checked out some of the others who are currently using some of your css's and their's appear to be that way too. like *xPinkTuxToTheProm seems to start late -- and someone else's stock account whom i can't recall their deviant name now who was using the other CSS ((not this one)) seemed have the same look; the text of the journal entry started after all the left columned stamps and links i'm not sure.

it's probably a crappy browswer problem on my part which is SUCH a shame, because you undoubtedly have the best CSS's to offer

dumb old IE -- which i read is screwing things up -- when you go to *xPinkTuxToTheProm 's frontpage, does hers look normal on your screen? if it does then we'll know it's my crappy browwwwwser blehhh

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

arhcamt In reply to mistercreevy [2008-01-07 10:09:00 +0000 UTC]

really? hmm.. look at the css code and search for bottom journal or something like that. maybe i put a "display:none" on that part. if that's the case then just erase that to make it appear. hopefully it will work. hehe.

eh iya, FYI, pernah nyoba liat CSS ini pake internet explorer gak?
Judul jurnal jatuh ke bawah setinggi tulisan How To Save A Life CSS di sebelah kiri, so it leaves a vast blank space. In case you haven't find it out...
