I think I remember a Crack fanfic where something like this happened.
Raven thought her Semblance had sent her back in time and she was given another chance to do everything right, starting with helping what she thought was a young Taiyang make a better Yang than the one they had.

Ozpin and the power of the maidens go from person to person in a similar manner
what about the other 'gifts' that Ozpin has given?
if/when Raven and Qrow die, will their transforming ability move to another person?
would Raven's ability move with her maiden power?
what about the transforming power itself? is it to become a bird or would it shift for other people?
Yang is called 'dragon' by her father- that's an interesting what if right there!
