A basic lineart for a picture I'm actually very proud of, please excuse the quality, it is hastily shopped to show up, despite being in light greylead on the page at this stage.This is the first family portrait of the Peyla family as it is today- The Clan Leader, Rawrou, stands cradling the infant Yarre; Lukjor, just a young boy, hangs on as he mourns the loss of his mother. Her image can be seen hanging over them all, a memory of her last moment of life, when Rawrou promised to raise her children as his own.

I adore how strong and protective Rawrou looks (not to mention how perfectly he's drawn) and how perfectly innocent and sad Lukjor looks. The tattoos are done amazingly, the ears- screw you- the ears are so damn cool, the eyes are so simple yet so expressive and the hands! THE HANDS
That is all.
Also- the shading behind the mother is very effective!
AND OHHHHH RAWROU'S HAIR!!! WHYYYYYYY IS IT SO ATTRACTIVE? WHY DO I WANT TO TOUCH IT??

Thanks so much, honeybunch! I am quite proud of it... took me an AGE to get to this point... yes, I will colour it. Yes, it will take rediculous amounts of time. Yes, I really hope it will be worth it
Those hands took me longer than the rest of the picture put together. Damn hands. Damn them to hell, I say.
The eyes, too, will hopefully keep that expression (I was going for that, thanks for noticing and appreciating 
It makes me very happy that you've been nice about all the things I really paid attention to. We're the same person.
