Description There was a scene in The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. I stopped plying, took a screenshot because instantly I knew that I'd draw that later. Here it is. I love plying Ciri.

Watercolours, a couple of hours. I suddenly had a heart attack, because after I finished the lines I put the first layer of watercolours on and I realised that one of the fineliners I used wasn't waterproof and it blurred heavily. Well, fortunately enough it didn't cause much damage.

I love the airy, flowing feel of watercolours and it suit this midnight run on the roof tops. Lovely light.

Pięknie posługujesz się akwarelami. Światło tutaj jest niesamowite! Urzekły mnie też starannie wyrysowane budynki, perspektywa i ta poprawność całego rysunku. Wszystko wygląda na dokładnie zaplanowane, takie prawdziwe. Dzięki Twoim pracom można uciec do innego świata.

Uhh I loved that scene too I´m doing every sidequest and questionmark right now before leaving to skellige

I really love the way you drew this, the roof must have took long, you did a great job! Are there any work in process pictures? Maybe on your tumblr I could take a look at? Maybe I´d learn something

Velen and these lands around are so pretty and so diverse! I have spent countless hours of riding Płotka (don't know his horse's name in English) just to enjoy the wievs. I was incredibly inpatient though, I just left for Skellige without doing everything because I'm so excited of meeting Yennefer and finally finding Ciri. I got pretty attatched to the storyline since I'm a big fan of the books haha

Thank you dear!  Unfortunately I don't have any wips Only one, plain lineart in case I'd screw up the rest. I did it quite fast once I sat down and started so I didn't take pictures, at first I painted the whole canvas in blues and greys (since some fineliners dissolved it turned grey) then I did all the shadows with different tones in-between. In the end I used a white oil marker to do highlights, reflections and glows It doesn't sound helpful at all.... damn...

they really are! The citys are nice too and there are so many details but I must say that I like riding on Plötze (german version of the horses name) through the little villages and nature by far the most. Also I fell in love with so many side quests. The pig one and the one where Gerald has to fight a monster while being drunk are awesome! Just to name a few I only read the first two books, I hardly find the time to read anymore :/

Thank you, that does help a little! I only came across using traditional media again because of the inktober right now. Most of the time I´m too afraid, because there is no return from mistakes like I´m used from working with PS

Oooh yes! The bgs are stunning I can repeat that forever. I personally liked the werewolf one, and the theater one ws quite a laugh! I can't recall the one with Geralt fightting drunk, perhaps i've mssed it

Glad it was a bit of a tip! Traditional medias are much harder because you have one chance to do stuff right. You know, but practice and once you stop worrying about stuff it starts to look good! At least it happened to me, with watercolours on my drawing class at uni (which hasn't had much in common with what I do personally haha but i did watercolours a couple of times)

Very interesting scene in the Roofs of Oxenfurt. The old roofs look so romantic and interesting. And what is Ciri doing there, sneaking there along? Very beautiful picture.

It really shows! It's even more impressive to me since it's done traditionally. I really enjoy your works.
