"Holy cow was that match intense! I mean, I dont' remember the end because I was knocked out for it, but I knocked her out too! First time they had a dual knockout in Starlight history. I think I can be right proud of that, right?

Oh, I probably should let y'all know what happened in the match. Well, the night went well. They found me this beautiful blue wrestling attire that looked absolutley gorgeous and fit like a glove too! I think all of us were surprised when it fit that snugly, especially since they were pointin' at my gals the entire time I was looking at it, and I've grown alert enough to know when folks are looking at me...at times.

Okay, okay, I hadn't noticed until a lovely gal named Hachiko pointed out to me and said, "They don't think your mune will fit in that outfit."

Gotta give it to her for her bluntness.

Anyhow, I put on the outfit and kimono, and when I was ushered to walk out, I did so...to my own music?!

Holy cow did these gals know me well! They made me feel right at home they did. I felt right alive after that and jogged to the ring to the roar of the crowd. I walked to my corner as my opponent was revealed; a lovely gal who went by Senshi. Though she wasn't nearly as tall as I am, I could tell she was a strong one.

We each removed our kimono's, gave each other a handshake before beginning our match.

And boy oh boy, wooowee! That was a barnburner! I knew she was strong, but she about matched me in strength. Found that out when she locked me up into a powerbomb and nailed me into the corner post. My back was aching bad after that, and wasn't helped when she hit me with a piledriver and tried to mop me up with a pin.

I still kicked out at one. That shocked her a bit.

Went a bit back and forth after that. My adrenaline was pumping, the crowd was roaring and I was feeling high off the excitement crackling in the air. I mananged to catch her after she went up top for a bodyslam, lifting my knees into her gut. Wrapped her up right tight into a texas cloverleaft before falling backwards until I was staring her in her eyes.

She screamed mighty fierce, but as I looked into her eyes, I saw she wasn't gonna quit.

I didn't see her punch me in the face though.

Again, we struggled to maintain supremacy. I managed to get her into the corner and bronco buster the tar out of her, while she managed to wrap me up into a, I still don't know what it was called, but my legs were wrapped up in a pretzal as she chocked me with my own arms; then dragged my face across the ropes until I bled.

The match was reaching a crescendo after I had managed to escape that excruciatingly painful hold, the crowd all on their feet as we started trading hard punches in the center of the ring, all thoughts of strategy out the window. Ten or so punche went back and forth. WHAM WHAM WHAM!! Each hit staggering both of us more and more until we each let loose a gutteral yell and launched matching kicks into each other's faces...

...and that was it.

I woke up a bit later, seeing that Senshi was still out a few feet from me. We'd both been counted out but I didn't mind. I started laughing, and I'm sure that most thought I'd lost my mind. Sure it must have been quite a sight; me all bloodied and bruised, laughing my head off in the middle of the ring.

Why was I laughing?

'Cause I felt alive.

I hadn't had a match like this one in a very long time. It jogged my soul right up and over the rockies and as Senshi woke up and we were both raised to the center of the ring, I made a wish that I'd be able to do this again one day.

That I could have more matches like this one.
