I wasn't very good at interviews. For me, I always felt nervous getting in front of large groups of people and just chatting with a person I'd never really met before. I can jabberjaw away the day with friends and family, but a stranger who is asking pointed questions? Yeah, not my cup of coffee.

However, NHB was a bit different. Mercedes was the type of intervierwer who wanted to get along with her guests before the show so she spent quite a bit of time the day before with me, talking, getting to know each other, the works. Really made it so by the end of the day, I felt a lot more comfortable around her, ya know?

Well, she was out there getting the introductions done for the spot, with me peaking around the corner, nervously awaiting my cue to head out onto the stage prepared for the interview.

I can take on a royal rumble full of ladies in the ring, or ride a rampaging bull with no fear, but why do I get nervous about answering questions?

I saw the cue for me to appear and began to walk around the corner as I heard Mercedes say, "And welcome to the show...Ariane Sophie Jones!"
