It had taken some time, but it was a match that was going to happen one way, or another. It had all started when Ariane had mistakenly called Faye, a cowgirl. Faye had taken it as well as a hot blooded farm girl would, immediately calling out Ariane and that cowgirls were just posers who couldn't hack it being farmgirls.

Like a snowflake blown off the top of a mountain, gaining steam and size as it rolls downwards, their rivalry exploded as each would take good natured potshots at the other until both had gained such a head of steam that there was no stopping their climatic collision.

A date was set...

A time appointed..

A match decided.

The two would meet in the most country-esque type of battle a farmgirl and cowgirl could have...a mud wrestling, 30 minute iron woman match. Both women felt it would be appropriate, and found a time to match in both their schedules. Coincidentally, that happened to fall on Faye’s birthday.

“No better time to put a farmgirl in her place than on her birthday. She’ll learn the power of a cowgirl.”

“I’m excited! I get to give myself the best present on my birthday, knocking out that cowgirl and show her that farmgirls do EVERYTHING better!”

With the arena, date, and match type chosen, the two women began training hard to prove that their style of country wrestling was the best. They both respected each other highly, but, competition ran like blood through their wrestling veins, so the trash talk continued until the day of the match.

Cimar was Ariane’s trainer, the pair taking several weeks to prepare for the match by wrestling in a mud ring at Ariane’s ranch for several hours each day. Nozomi, Faye’s girlfriend, took on the role of her trainer and the pair sparred for hours as well.

Finally, the day of the match arrived.

Two locker rooms, on opposite sides of the arena were set apart, one for each woman and her coach. As the match drew closer, the audience began to file into the arena.

Many friends of both women came to watch the match. Olivia, a fellow cowgirl, came to support both her friends, with Thuraya came with Megan to observe the mud match, as she would soon be getting into the ring with Ariane, and wanted to observe her moves. Several women from FAWN, such as Kanako Akiyama, a close and dear friend of Ariane, came to support their fellow FAWN star. Several other country girls could be found in the audience, including Jessica Weston, Tina Armstrong, and Dixie Clemets. A few other ladies could be found, but the lights began to dim, leaving only a spotlight on the center of the ring.

Soon enough, the referee splashed down into the center of the ring. The legendary hero, Shadowline, was decked out in a two piece referee’s outfit, her bright smile and happy attitude instantly getting the crowd on their feet.

“Good evening, everyone! I know you’re all here for a wrestling match, so I won’t keep you any longer! It’s time to introduce the wrestlers for this match. In the red corner, representing Farmgirls everywhere…it’s the fantastically charming and strong, Faye Knox!”

With a country song blaring from the arena’s audio, Faye burst through the red curtains on the south side of the arena, Nozomi hot on her heels as the farmgirl jogged down the path to the ring, slapping hands with fans. Hoots and catcalls followed her as the farmgirl wore a small, bikini-esque set of daisy dukes alongside a fairly small orange and black flannel bikini top. Her pigtails bounced as she made her way to the ring, until she slowed down to climb into the ring, splashing into the mud with a grin. “Oh, now this is like it!”

Shadowline let the crowd calm slightly before bringing the microphone back up. “And in the blue corner, representing cowgirls everywhere, its…Ariane Jones!!!” Again, country music blared as Ariane parted the curtains and waved to the crowd. The cowgirl set a more easy-going pace, as her manager and boyfriend, Cimar, walked next to her. The Black Hills Beauty made her way to the ring, her daisy dukes barely any larger than Faye’s, and her own black and red flannel top was tied off and cut out in a bikini style.

With the cowgirl joining the other two women in the ring, and the two managers standing in their significant other’s corners, Shadowline beckoned both women forward.

The lights shone down upon the trio, the mud squishing beneath their feet until the two redheads were toe to toe and chest to chest. Faye had to slightly look up to her larger and taller opponent, almost physically gulping as her own chest, which was bounteous, seemed to be engulfed by the cowgirl’s girls.

Ariane looked at her opponent. “Y’all ain’t got nothing on a cowgirl, honey!!

Faye did her best to push back and up against the cowgirl, who stood steady as a rock. “Don’t worry,” Faye responded. “I’ll teach you the ways of the Farmgirl!”

Shadowline grinned. “Okay you two, let’s get you to your corners and then I’ll start this match. Remember, it’s a 30 minute time limit ironwoman match. Points can come from submissions, pins for a count of five, and knockouts. Now, back to your corners.”

With a final push from both women, which only caused more catcalls and whistles, the two redheads walked back to their corners. The arena quieted to the point where even a mouse’s whisper could be heard, the tension thick enough to slice with a knife.

DING!

And all chaos broke loose!
