yet another picture of Rory - this time, with Johnny Worthington. I've always wanted to experiment with lighting like this, and I'm really happy with how I got it to look in the end. I also tried working with extremely thin outlines, so that was tricky for me (I tend to use lots of thick outlines when I draw).Again, a brief explanation can be found here.
I had a whole lot of fun working with the shadows and stuff. Being my first time drawing Johnny, it was an interesting challenge. He's pretty hard, actually!
on a side note, Rory's webbed feet are so not fun to draw. He gets his feet (and his overbite) from his mommy. ;u;

Nope! If you read the description, this is actually the monster version of me and my sister's fan baby Rory Wazowski. We originally created him for our human AU, so I just decided to try and draw him as a monster. ;u;

GASP. HOW SWEET.
I really, truly love the warm lighting that you have within this picture. It`s almost as if you stepped into the picture, you`d be swimming in sunlight ( holy. what did I just say..). But anyways, your lines look really great too. Honestly, I don`t even know how you do it sometimes. Your lines are ALWAYS PERFECT.
I can`t draw lines for crap unless it`s on paper; but you already know this. Also, Rory`s eye is so fun to look at. It`s so shiny. Ahhhh. Oh! and the top of Johnny`s horns. I love those spots of shine up there.

for the lines, I basically just did really quick strokes and left them almost exactly as is. The most I did to edit them was erase some sections where they overlapped in ways I didn't want. but uGH I'm glad you think the lighting turned out good.Β
Johnny's horns were probably my favorite part of the picture to shade/highlight, though I'm not sure why. I had a harder time shading Rory, which is interesting. You'd think that he'd be the easier one. haha!
