i kinda knew they were going to lose from the start. the bad guys had to progress the the finals and they were the plot device. theres also some trope about how you can show a relatively unknown character is powerful by them defeating a character whos power is already known.
i think they played dirty and Neo created the illusion of Yatsuhashi, and im still trying to figure out why Coco froze up like she did.

I was also a bit frustrated to see that Coco lost. It might have been more interesting if Coco and Yatsuhashi actually won and we'd get more information about Cinder's plan due to that setback or something.
