For my BF’s adaption of TMNT, I decided to draw our own versions of the human characters. If the creators of the TV shows, movies, and series can make their own version, why can’t he and I? But I can’t draw the turtles really well

They were also birthday presents for him on 11/25/2020 and he loved them. I hope you all too.

April O’Neil

A high school student who aims to be an achieving scientist. She is the first human ally of the turtles. In this version, April is a girly girl but with tomboy streak: she wears dresses (sailor fuku style), make-up, and fangirling over Baxter Stockman but she loves karate, Japanese history and myths, science, and once a member of the school paper. She acts like a sister to the turtles.

Description: Orange/red hair with bangs over her eyes and a ponytail held by a pink bow. She wears a yellow puffy sleeved dress in style of a sailor fuku, gold collar and lines on sleeves and skirt, pink bow and belt, black leggings, and yellow shoes with blue laces.

Inspired by yellow fuku uniform of my old idea Gem of Sunset (Phantom the Opera story).

April belongs to belong to Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird, Nickelodeon, and IDW.
