Because you promised that you would make me smile... So revive! xD

It's been a long time since I went all out on a piece, I should probably do this every so often xD; I really wanted to experiment with the lighting to capture the feeling of my piece ^_^ But anyways, after watching the trailer, Im super excited to watch the new upcoming movie!! It looks so epicccc! I watched Code Geass about 10 years ago and it is one of my favorite anime. It gave me so many feels in the end (and it still does! TT_TT) I just had to enter when I found out about it!! I wish I found out about it sooner, but regardless, Im super thankful that I was able to finish in time. I hope to see Lelouch and C.C. in the movie and hopefully my favorite ship can finally sail!! There were so many theories with the whole series and its ending, it was interesting to read everyone's thoughts on it. I want to believe that C.C. has feelings for Lelouch, so that's why I decided to draw them both! I feel that her true wish was to experience true love rather than to die. I hope she can find it within her relationship with Lelouch c:

My concept behind this piece was inspired by the setting where the nun (who made a Geass contract with C.C.) shifted her immortality onto C.C. It is also inspired by the ending of Code Geass R2 where C.C. prays and says "As compensation for putting Geass on people..." Instead of an angel on the stained glass window, I decided to use Zero who is now a symbol of peace created by Lelouch. As the light shines on them both, what will await Lelouch's revival? I'm excited to see on May 5th!
