Ercole and Chelsea hate sea creatures (Chelsea for Ruby; Ercole for Luca), some may say it’s ironic that Ercole hates Luca and Alberto considering that they're "sea monsters", while Chelsea hates Ruby considering she’s a “sea creature” too. Both seem to be rather vain.
