Aaaaw this is really great! The expressions are beyond cute Does it have a reason though that he looks a bit sad in most of them? I know that there are animals who seem to have a fixed expression no matter how they are feeling ( I'm thinking of Grumpy Cat…) but it really kind of strikes the eye here, I think…

Thank you!! I think that's just the way this batch of drawings turned out… it was a bit of a challenge to get her face to work in a smile, and much easier to put the mouth where it is here. There are some more sketches you can check out here:ariella-may.tumblr.com/post/96… that kinda show that.Β
