also, if it's a rotating cylindrical barrel, as it looks like, then the ornament on the top (dogs head) wouldn't physically be able to be attached to the barrel and the receiver. unless it's not a rotating cylindrical barrel?

I actually just went by how his gun looked in-show, and seeing as it's magical, glowing, and (literally) part dog I figured it could break as many physical laws as it wanted to, haha.
