So pretty much, my What If story is what if Scourge had been adopted into ThunderClan?
I mean, the chances that Thistleclaw and Tigerpaw were in the patrol that found him were rather slim. So imagine if it was Bluefur and someone else? I think they might've taken pity on him and adopted him.
As Erin Hunter said themselves, Scourge was a lot like Firestar. He had all the things needed to make a great leader; confident, wise, tactful, cunning and loyal to his comrades.

I think that Bluefur would've been his mentor, since she found him and probably persuaded the Clan to let him join. He would've moved up ranks swiftly like Firestar, and soon became a young deputy under Sunstar. Although Sunstar would've picked Bluefur, Featherwhisker recieved an omen about Scourge becoming a great leader, so there wasn't much indecision.

Thistleclaw would've hated kittypets even more, and passed this hatred down to Tigerclaw and then to Darkstripe. Longtail however, would've been more supportive about kittypets along with the rest of his Clan because of Scourge.

Firestar would've been born and join the Clan nevertheless and would become the next leader in due time. They don't know that they're related though. Scourge would probably take him as his apprentice due to their similarities and past. Scourge's deputy would be either Lionheart, Whitestorm or Redtail

The full picture? A more docile ThunderClan, a wise and legendary Scourge [Name?], a young Firepaw, and an even more bloodthirsty Tigerclaw.

Edit on Name: I'm most likely going to use 'Dark' as a prefix! I just need a suffix right now. Darkeyes? Darkfur? Darkpelt?
