Description
Oil painting on paper.Recently I started experimenting oil paint and fell in love with it. I had no way around it.
Also I can not avoid creating mysterious land(or sea)scapes.

I enjoyed looking at this up closed. You did a wonderful job working with the depth of the water and the light in the tree's I can almost feel the leaves rustling in the breeze. If you decide to work on this a little more I would love to see you define the horizon. Right now I think it looks like I am looking out to the ocean and there is a few waves coming in to shore, but yet the water is calm by the tree. You could make those white stroke into clouds, if you worked on them a bit more instead of having an ocean in the background you could add a soft foggy embankment or shoreline in the distance. which would means the inlet would be calm in the fore ground. I must say it is a beautiful calm piece of work.

A subtle but rather moving painting. It speaks of loneliness.

Well it looks like this tree is about to fall in a damsel in distress like fashion from the high winds blowing off it's bark away from it's roots.
