J: …*sighs* no, Sherlock. You know, there hasn’t always to be a case or murder to keep you entertained!
S: But John.. there hasn’t been an interesting client for an eternity! The last e-mails have just been tiresome attempts of some people to get my attention - dull.
J: *mumbles* well, at least you don’t get those odd e-mails.
well, I hope I get an idea how to continue this and when. this is going to be closely to the story "the poison giant" *hint hint* maybe with a bit additional stuff!

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!! Sorry, I really needed to get that out of the way first!!! I zoomed in to the max because I like details, and I found myself thinking "hmmmm wow, the entire newspaper is actually typed out. AND THEN I FUCKING SAW THE 'MISS ME?' ON THE PAPER!!!!! and then the one on the table said "magpie" which was related to the case and There was another thing on the paper that piqued my intrigue too but I couldn't quite pin it down to why. And since I am still in the process of reading the original books I don't know if there were other written 'clues' I may have missed because of that. But I love it! It was unexpected, and an AMAZING unique detail that makes this SO precious. I love that the expressions is like John is skimming for 'cases' to lift the 'bored' detective's spirits, and Sherlock looks as if he's glancing to totally explain/jabber away at what John is suggesting, and it's like he is sooooooo utterly bored, He's probably already gone through that paper and yet, they haven't yet picked up on Jim's little clue, or maybe, just maybe Sherlock has but is biding his time and hasn't told John because it wasn't 'necessary' yet. Ohhhh I just love this. I saw it briefly in a group and I thought it was nice, well detailed in the thumbnail, and nowwwwww after realllly taking the time to look it over in depth I really have an appreciation to ALL of the detail, and unique things that make this YOUR drawing. It is beautiful. And I know I should do more critiques to support the artist's I love, but my infrequent nature of giving critques I hope, makes you realise just how AWED I was by this drawing. It is quite the special masterpiece!!!! KEEP UP THE WORK!!!!!!!!!!! feel free to ask me for critiques ANY TIME!!!!!! I'd love to see what kind of remarkable detailed work you can do on and even higher pixelation!!!! I felt that it was really astounding the detail you had in this size, and oh man oh man WORK THAT TALENT. Because I love the little details. Those are what really make art memorable to me!!! THIS ONE I WILL REMEMBER!!!! (in fact I wish I could give IMPACT like.... and infinity!!!)

okay, first of all, this is such an amazing artwork!! I love the way you did the subtle glow for the lighting. I think that gives out the effect of what a 'normal day' in 221B is. The way you colour is very beautiful. It blends in perfectly but it's not blended too much that it gives out that feeling where it doesn't look right, it's just the right amount of everything. I'm so close to saying that this is perfect!! I keep on staring at it, you've done a fantastic job! I would love to see more of your artwork, they are downright amazing! Love it!

very well done! perspective, shading, lighting, realistic quality. all very well done. hands and feet could always do with some touch-ups and maybe a slight resize, but otherwise: Great Job. keep up the great work!
i particularly like the clutter and odd objects around the table (papers, computer, tea cup, etc.). also, your note to texture in fabrics like the couch and clothing is something to be envious over (i know i am) and i find that THAT is one of the main things that makes this piece so realistic, loveable and possibly a real scene from the sherlock series. please, do keep it up!

I love how the painting shows us John and Sherlock's domestic life in the flat. The shades and details are very well done. And their postures, it's so them. I can imagine what the situation (and conversation) would look like. It's so real I can't tell whether it's a photo or a painting. *sign* It's so amazing. *bows*
