Ride the Lightning is actually my favorite Metallica album. I loved what you did with the band logo, it stands out more.

No prob, man. It really is a Thrash Metal classic. You know what I find interesting about this album? Fans'll say Master of Puppets is the best album, but they'll say Ride is their favorite, and I'll say that, too. I always found that interesting.

Yeah, I miss that raw, rushed quality in all records, man. Take Slayer's first album, Show No Mercy, for instance. The whole thing sounded like it was made in, like, a weekend or something. They didn't care how GOOD their music sounded, they just wanted to get it out there to the public. Kill 'em All's the same deal, rumor has it was finished in two weeks. And look how both turned out, they're both still amazingly killer albums and they still play the songs live to this day. Goes to show what the formula was back then.
