This is just a little of me showing my work and thought process of my comics, its fun to see how things change and morph through the entire process, I hope you enjoy

how do you delete the background completely? When I do it I'm always left with this greyish outline that I can't get rid of with out ruining the line art

you have to use the levels tool in Photoshop to lighten the background to while while darkening your line art

What I use now is setting the layers to Multiply, then creating a new layer underneath, then colouring on that layer.

What setting do you scan it at? My scanner's current setting always makes the white parts so dark, so the whole picture looks dirty when I color it. Or do you edit the page in Photoshop to make it clean?

ooh i'd like to ask, do you repeat this process for each single page or do you think of the whole story first then colour and tweak everything together? ^^

yes I do it all together its easier that way

Yes but with using layers I do it last sometimes too, the order of that dosnt matter too much

nope its not meant to be a tutorial, if you notice that is why is says "Process" in the title, it was an excuse to show my stick picture sketches and raw sketchs, and actually you would be surprised how many people ask me how I put "text" on a picture. -_-....do not overestimate the skill of a newbie

You could draw ANYTHING, like that first Vati you did out of 4 lines xD and get a 1000 favorites

How do you know how big to make the speech bubbles?

well I guess I have just done it long enough I guess....and I can always adjust the font size or the bubble size if I'm wrong

I do all of my comics on the computer. (Not that I post them...) It's interesting to see exactly how you pieced this all together.

That's really cool! For my comics I've decided to do a half lazy, half "artsy" method- write the script, draw all the characters, draw the panels, then cut out the drawn characters and stick them onto the paper with the panels, and lastly insert dialogue and clean up. If I actually had technology beyond a scanner, I'd consider doing this. Seems a lot easier. XD
