Corrupted Misty was still being consumed by the armor, and her friends tried to stop her. But she grips them all with her tendrils.

“Misty,” Zipp said, struggling. “This isn’t who you are.”

“How do you know who we are?” She asked, growling.

“You’re our friend. You always are.” She explained. “You help us save Sparky from Opaline. Please don’t turn away from what you did.”

Before she could wrap her mouth, Sparky appeared, giving her to see how worried he was. That’s when she remembering she got her cutie mark from saving her friends and Sparky.

“I… I did save Sparky,” Misty remarked. “I save you all. I got my cutie mark.”

Then suddenly, her cutie mark sparkles, and the tendrils release them all as she begins to free herself from it. Sunny and the others watch as Misty struggles and repels the corruption inside of her. But it was trying to stay with her, as they all encouraged her who she is.

“Misty, you can do it,” said Hitch.

“You are our friends,” Pipp said. “Believe in yourself.”

“Don’t let yourself what Opaline made you,” Zipp exclaimed.

“Please come back to us,” Alphabittle replied. “I won’t lose you again.”

“Believe in us,” Izzy shouted.

“We will never give up on you,” said Sunny. “Cause you have friends. And you will always be.”

And with courage, she free herself and tosses it away. She was free, and her friends hurried and helped her, seeing she’s okay.

“I’m okay,” said Misty, relieved she’s free.

“I knew you were still there,” Zipp said, hugging her as they were happy in a group.

And Alphabittle was happy she was finally free. “Oh, Misty, I would never let you go.”

“But all those things I said,” she worried. “Those were true.”

“I know,” he comforted her. “But that wasn’t you. It was that *thing* drawing out your hate. I know how much pain you've been through. But this time you won’t. I will never abandon you.”

Misty smiles and happily hugs her dad, and Sunny discovers her cutie mark was able to free herself from the armor. Could it be the key to repel the corruption?
