this is absolutely gorgeous. i remember once, a time when i could make purple and white look fantastic together, that time has passed and now you have taken my place as the master of the simplistic colors and you now reign supreme in my mind when it comes to extremely challenging images that must be created from another image, so complex.

Awesome. I love the image in the middle there. Fantastic. MY only gripe in the big white spaces around. It just seems to make the overal piece a bit empty. Great work none the less.

arlee, I love your work to bits, and this piece is of no exception; it totally kicks ass! The simplified colouring makes me think of the whole battle as of a fire, the aftermath and finally, hell freezing over. Downloading this piece was an eye-opener in itself, and love the text btw

This battle is one of the most interesting ever happenin to this community. You always take a step in a totally unprepared for direction. This ownz as much as the previous to did.
What I really like with this one is that when I look at it from a distance it looks like an eye but when I get closer the level of detailing just hypnotize me.

That's really solid. Sticking with purple and white in most cases comes out horribly, but not this piece. Here they compliment each other rather well. Nice work.
