..about you..Here's Krypton, my main OC. This is a basic profile practice run for when I redo his reference sheet later this month. It's been too long since I've done a basic no-frills standalone picture of him. Regarding the title, well, I couldn't think of anything else, but I do think about him every day. I've grown quite close to him, as my username would also suggest. Anyways, I guess that's all. XD
About 2 1/2 hours. SAI and PS on Surface Pro

Some of my dragons keep the same or a similar color for the wingarms. But Krypton has always had the dark gray ones. Some people have forgotten, and it looks kinda strange. XD I usually blend it a little.

Maybe it would blend more naturally if you started with grey stripes that eventually led into fully grey wings.

erhm....
i think the mouth is a bit weird
with most animals you will see that the lower jaw is usually like ''thinner''
the neck is a little too short for this type of dragon and a tad bit too ''musculair/fat''
the front legs just look so painfull
shoulder blade are not usually detached like that
that's why you usually don't see them
instead, look at you own arm's anatomy and tr drawing it like that
the spike ball *shudders*
i guess things [attributes] on the tail are cool
i totally agree on that
but think about it
the tail is meant for the dragon to keep its balance
and then there's a giant [metal?] spike ball on it
pretty heavy.....
the wings
with these wings, the dragon will not be able to fly, only be able to glide
long wingarms are fine and the stance as well
the thing is, is that the wing fingers should be longer as well as the amount of wing for it to lift its weight
or it needs to have nearly no muscle and hollow bones
like birds
so my tips are: look at your own anatomy.
many things are alike
thing about flight when you draw wings and think about the weight of the dragon
proportions are important as well
i hope you don't kill me
or hate me
as this must've been quite harsh......
but hey....
i wanna help you get even better at art
the colours and shading are fine, so that's good~~

In a general sense, sometimes I make necks and jaws thicker because my earlier stuff was really thin looking. The person teaching me encouraged thicker necks, and many have said it needs to be thinner, but when I try, they look anorexic. XD The forelegs yes, not a highpoint for me here, that's for sure. XD
Krypton's spike ball will always stay--it's pinnicle to his design. It's not heavy (even though it looks that way, and I usually prefer long wings)
I usually love doing long wings. They're so much fun, but I kinda just ran out of room here. Dx

Ya, probably. Why don't you put the wings in a different position for this pose? Mebbe folded or something half closed?
Also, I think your front thigh needs to be a bit thicker, seems a bit too thin to hold up a dragon xD
