Description
This illustration is a combination of a lot of tricks. First of all I set up some 3D bipeds from Studio Max for compositional purposes and as well as perspective. I also set up some very basic geometrical shapes for the place of the factory and car. When it can to rendering, I painted over the biped keeping only the gesture and the movement. I nabbed some photographs for sky, ground, factory and car. I made sure I did some painting over them so the style can stay the same and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. I did a lot of painting over the car I added all the dents and bullet holes in the windows and did a few mad max up grades. Most importantly I did this all in black in white first so I can judge on the atmospheric perspective then I did a global color correction and add a few different colors for the main characters and the car.
