Another pixel art icon commission
For Exodite, an icon of his character. I'm rather happy that the expression seems to translate pretty well in such a tiny form, things like that are hard to get right.Graphics Gale and Photoshop

Nrr. While it's a bit late, would you mind some critique? I'm a bit nervous critting someone's work if I don't know them >.>;
There's just a few things that bother me.

I don't mind critique at all, anything I can make note of for future pixel work is good to me.

I think it's mostly the closer (our left) wing. The shading on the membranes looks off, like it doesn't follow your lightsource (which I'm assuming is somewhere top left).

Hey Armaina...have you tried to make dragcave dragons before? Cause Sudan Red at Artspots is trying in her/his sketchbook at Artspots and i think you'd be very good at making dragcave dragons with your pixel skills!!

If I sound a little frustrated in this response it's because I've been asked this question several times. But no, I will not do dragon cave dragons because the members of the community are rude and impatient. None of them respect the artists for the time they put into it and feel that they should have the right to do whatever they want with art that is not even paid for. I tried doing it when the 'fog' first started when they were replacing sprites and was very disappointed with how the artists were treated. And now since the DragonCave has turned out to be more commercial I refuse to work for something of that nature uncompensated.

Well I want to make my own petsite one day, so I've been working on sprites for that. But yes, many of them would even edit some artist's work if they thought the artist was taking too long, or color it without their permission. Some demanded changes and seemed to blockade any voting on a certain thing if those changes weren't made. I know one person got credits for a sprite they didn't even do and they won't remove it

There were some very nice people, sure, just.. the general attitude of the forum was unappealing. But, yeah working on sprites for the site I just don't know how to code it x_x

You are seriously one of the people who inspires me to continue doing my pixel work. The shading is excellent as well as your ability to put little details in here and there that is quite hard to do with pixels.

damn! i love all of your pixels, but this one is particularly well done n.n the muscles are so perfectly visible and FFFT i love that face! i don't know HOW you get that much detail into something so small ;;

thank you! It can be hard making sure certain things translate into the completed pixel work, lots of zooming in and zooming out, but I enjoy it.
