Are you still going to make more of these to sale? Just wondering.

yup. but right now, they're super expensive to make. it's better if we wait until the resin option is available.

They don't fly, right? it would be scary if they do, haven't played this metal gear game yet. Looks awesome though.

no, they don't actually fly
but they have "pilots" so I figured the correct term would be flight.
thanks!

that's true. my camera only has an 8 megapixel resolution, it's really just a 3R "point & shoot" camera, not really meant for product photography.
when I get a new camera, I'll replace all the old grainy images & upload lots of detail pics!

The fact the Metal gears were designed for launching nukes, as a specialty role. Instead of mainstream combat mechs kinda pisses me off. The design is so beautiful and beastly that it'd make a great mainstream mech if it had more standard armniments.

there's always the option to replace the nuclear warhead with a more conventional warhead.

That's a good point, but they typically didnt do that.

The only thing that was modified was the warhead itself. In the original design was always meant to carry a conventional warhead (Sort to speak)to take down airplanes and missiles. So, it's perfectly suitable for your destructive desires... Well, mine too. >

Some are staged strictly for such roles, but the later models do in fact have a place in field combat.
The REX and the ZEKE were capable of multiple roles. They were armed with powerful vulcan guns and an array of missiles. That large arm on the REX and ZEKE? That was a prototype rail gun. (Though admittedly in practice, they were only effective for anti-air artillery maneuvers.)
While considerably expensive to mass produce, RAYs were capable of both tactical nuclear strike as well as combat action in a battlefield.
Later on in 2014, the GEKKO was also produced. This unit didn't even come with nuclear strike capability. Instead, it was built specifically for recon and infantry dispatch purposes.
So to say that Metal Gears are strictly a specialty nuke tank is kind of overlooking all the other models' capabilities with glaring dismissal.

Thre is also the fact the wiki's are massivally miss-leading and due to a high fustration with the camera controls of Metal gear 2 I havent played the whole series.
I knew about the rail gun, the idea for it in the games story was to use the rail gun to make a nuke launcher that couldnt be tracked due to no heat or chemical trails from a propellant. Which is why I thought all the rex's were nuke tank roles.
However I knew that the REX was a anti-metal gear role with more standard fighting capabilities
