This is part 3 of the Paradise Lost series.( Part One ) ( Part Two )
So in book 3 Satan transforms into a heavenly angel in order to sneak into the world of man. He gets directions to paradise from Uriel the guardian of the sun.
Depicted here as Uriel with wings straddling the sun is She also portrays Satan in disguise heading downward to Earth.
