Description
If you be my starI'll be your sky
you can hide underneath me and come out at night
when I turn jet black and you show off your light
I live to let you shine
I live to let you shine
but you can skyrocket away from me
and never come back if you find another galaxy
far from here with more room to fly
just leave me your stardust to remember you by
if you be my boat
I'll be your sea
a depth of pure blue just to probe curiosity
ebbing and flowing and pushed by a breeze
I live to make you free
I live to make you free
but you can set sail to the west if you want to
and past the horizon till I can't even see you
far from here where the beaches are wide
just leave me your wake to remember you by

You know, when I read the poem, I felt as if it were coming from a man's perspective, but when I look at the picture it is as if all these lovely women are giving up their hold on their "stars/lovers". Ok took a second look - now I see the women as stars themselves and the deep steady sky as the one 'letting them shine' Don't you just love people analyzing your works! Wonderful job!!

subsitute drawing with image...or piece...
oh, and I just had an epiphany as to what I was getting, and I'm understanding the accompanying poem more now. It's interesting. But, I won't tell you why! muahaha!
This piece is one of my favorites thus far. Very yin yang...beautiful in meaning and visuals.
*hugs amos*
*cries a little*
YOU'RE SUCH A VISIONARY!!
*sniffle*

ooo...new wallpaper! yay! Janet, assuming Janet is actually the name of the heart-bearing figure of the drawing accompanied by the sad story of janet and guy, was scaring me a little...wouldn't quit staring.
I like the accompanying poem. Although, this piece doesn't give off a sense of loss to me.. It looks hopeful. Lynch me if I'm way off..
Aesthetically speaking, I love how you played with the lighting. The foreground and central figure look like they're illuminated by afternoon sun. Yet, the background is a beautiful display of night. The piece is very balanced. Pleasant to the eye, troubling to the mind. Hmm..I take back the hopeful thing. But, i am sensing something..I can't put my finger on it. Well, I may come back to it.
You already know how I feel about your art, my friend. You're great

listen to the song... it's a song about sacrifice... being so truly in love that you're willing to step aside and say "thank you for those moments we had but if you have to go, then I don't want to hold you down"
So I had to try to balance the whimsical nature of the lyrics with the somber message that still springs so much of love and joy even while saying goodbye.

I like this one. it's dreamy kind of, and a bit child-esque. nice.
is the central girl sitting or walking though? The grains and her position make it hard to tell.

now *I* know she's sitting because the original image has her sitting, but in reality it's whatever you see her doing. If you see her walking then you see her walking and that creates a nice message. I looked at it again and saw what you mean but hey if everyone seems something different then I've done my job
