I had to read the comments to understand what this was about.Β
I believe this would work better if, in the first image, her collar bone was cropped, and in the second, the upper back was cut out.Β
Both the butt and breasts may stick out similarly, but they have two distinct shapes. If you look hard enough, they're completely different, have very dissimilar muscle structure, and are held differently by gravity.
With that in mind, I don't believe this image was successfully executed.Β
Besides that, they're crisp, clean photos, with Β great attention to lighting and color.

I think the reason the photos were done the way they were is that you're in the minority:Β Most people (at least, judging by the comments, and my own "everybody thinks like me" fallacy >.>...) take a moment to notice the collar bone and upper back, and while you're absolutely right that the breast and buttox have different structures, with only part of them visible like in this picture, I believe MOST of us would never pick up on that.Β
So, in a way, the picture could be viewed as "dumbed down" when compared to your idea :-p.Β
So, I suppose congratulations are in order:Β You're officially smarter than the target audience (or, at least, have better observation skills :-p).Β

No the collar bone and waistline are intentionally there to illustrate the cognitive disconnect. It was intentional. We are meant to to a double-take and see what is really going on

this whole piece is centered around the double take, then moment of clarity as it comes into focus

I understand the idea behind the photos, you don't have to explain it. I meant the illusion would work better for me if cropped.
I did no double take, just wondered for a moment why this woman was wearing a bra without cups and a necklace on her waist.
It's a great idea, fine execution, it just didn't work for me. I noticed the neck and collar bone before anything else, which breaks the illusion. =/
