Getting tired of that Gaara image on my page, so here's something non-neopets related. (I've been doing a LOT of Neopets art for the past few months)Just a...umm profile image of Jet from Sonic Riders. I drew this up pretty fast and colored it how it looked on the offical art.
I'm the type that picks a character I like by looks or personality and with Sonic Riders coming out soon, Jet was already my favorite character of the game. First time drawing him and had limited images to work with, so I might have gotten something wrong. *shrugs* I tired.
Hoping to get the game by the end of the week.
..oh yeah, I am alive on DA again. I just keep coming and going.

I gotta hand it to you, this is so cool looking. I've seen a bunch of pics with that sonic-adventure-style shading and they're all sweet, but this one with its distinct edgy lines and pointed look, you know, I dig this too. Love the feathered chest, the beak with the grin, I've never been able to replicate that well.

Great rendition of the new character. I love the line work, and the whole color scheme fits pretty well. You sure know how to make basic, flast colors seem interesting. 
As for the voices, I'm just glad they got rid of Ryan Drummond...that guy ruined Sonic for me.

As much as I get tired of seeing new faces in each new Sonic-game, the new trio does have me intreagued, Wave mostly, but Jet... xDDD His green fur/feathers just make him stand out!

The fact that they went and made a team composing entirely of avians is nothing short of awesome. Excellent fanart of an excellent new character.

Moment I saw him and his name I was saying, "Ok, I'm liking this guy." Moment I heard his voice, "Oh yeah, I'm using him for Sonic Riders!" His theme song is pretty good too, bit hip hop though. =/

Wouldn't surprise me if this is one of the first. Finding an image of Jet is pretty hard right now since the offical site doesn't show his shoes or board. Got lucky with a link I found for the japanese site. Full body image him and his board there.
They changed VA's again? I just want SA2 Tails' voice back. How I miss his voice and IQ. Seems in Heros he lost his edge. Last news I heard, the 4Kids Sonic X cast are doing the voice now. Eww. Yami Yugi as Knuckles. -.-

Yes indeed. That's the VA change I was talking about. Ever since Shadow, it's been cruddy, yet not half as noticable in Rush.
And I too believe SA/SA2's Tails was best. Corey Bringas really did Tails a good amount of credit that he needed.
And I hated "Eggmanzrobutzes" Tails. I mean... jeez. That line was the single least intelligent thing Tails could have said.

I don't think they're listening to the fans, considering how much whining they're getting from us... After each Sonic-game people keep shouting them critics, whether they're unhappy with not having enough Shadow, or the camera, or why the games are 3D-nowadays, when every other friggin videogame is...
Still, you'd think they'd have enough heart to get back the original voice-cast.
But I bet we're just gonna have to accept our defeat in this case! =_=; 4kids-voices are the cheapest, so naturally, they're going with that.

I did tell you about the issues I have with Sonic fans now about that, did I not?
The camera's... eh. Never gonna be perfect. And 3D, it has to be! Unless they'd do a platform release of something like Rush.
I dunno if it's because 4Kids is forcing it, or because they think that it'd be better to keep a VA continuity...
But if it's the second one, they should've forced 4Kids to use the GAMES' VAs before Sonic X came out. Japan had the game VAs first, and they used them as their Sonic X VAs. Ryan Drummond actually offered to move to New York to do the job for 4Kids... But they didn't care!
So... yeah. I think it's just one corporate giant holding down SEGA. Much like another corporate giant is holding down Universal Interactive with their VA PROBLEM. *cough* Or maybe that A should be replaced with ANOTHER VOWEL.
