SO I think I figured out what bugged me about that pannel. It wasn't so much the expression as the pose. just my opinion I suppose. XD this will explain better: [link]

Ah, yes, I see your point. I was trying to convey that he was calling for the guards, without actually having him say anything, as the entire comic will be silent except for the "voice over". I'm not sure, I think I'll have to work something new out, but his current pose won't work.

hmm perhaps a longer panel, or an extra one. One with him running and one next to it with a shot from behind showing two guards rushing forward past the fleeing man?
