Description
Painted with Acrylics, this took about 3.5 hours roughly. I'm getting better.I didn't really have a narrative for this piece I just thought it was a cool perspective. So I'll just make one up for the hell of it.
Somewhere in the mountains a kayaker is enjoying the fresh mountain air rushing down the rapids avoiding rocks and sand bars. When they are suddenly startled by a loud roar as an F-15 flies in low over the river. The Kayaker looks up with awe and excitement as the F-15 aerosaur gracefully maneuvers between steep mountain slopes and trees while firing several missiles. As soon as it came it was gone and the Kayaker is left speechless as loud booms echo in the distance.
The Kayaker continues down river in peace till they come across several smoldering tanks and personal carriers burnt out and destroyed lying across the stream. They land on the shore to get around the burnt hulks. When The Kayaker notices the tanks were on a forest trail that crossed the river here. As they climb out of their Kayake they hear several men groaning, who had narrowly escaped their tanks before being blown up. The soldiers had dragged the deceased bodies from the smoldering hot metal hulks reeking of burn rubber and oil and lining them up in the road. They beg the Kayaker for food since they lost all their rations in the explosions. The Kayaker does not have much aside from a sandwich for themselves in their lunch box; they are horrified by the whole situation as they drag their kayak back into the water.
Only 10 minutes prior they had been stricken with awe and excitement as the Aerosaur roared overhead. They had never seen a live aerosaur so close before, especially while it was in flight. The soldiers warn the Kayaker to leave before more units show up. The Kayaker paddles away feeling dread hoping to reach the campground in the state park several more miles downstream.
