Story:
When introduced to his horse Tarek thought: "Hey, this is not so different than usual." The redhead had no issues with mares (his first horse had also been a mare and he had loved her as much as he did his fiance) and sure he preferred chestnut horses but this lady had more than enough other charms to make up for that. When he got told that his current ride was a Beaurever he was a bit surprised though. He only knew that breed in extra small or extra larger, but it turns out they also come normal sized. What a truly fascinating breed.
But he isn't here to window shop for another horse. He is here to improve his Pleasure riding skills! So let's go!
..... Um. Ok, let's try again. Let's go!
........... Usually, at this point, Tarek would be across the arena already in what most people would call a semi-controlled lope.
But oh right. He wasn't sitting on his usual horse who even after 11 years of being gelded still thought he was a stallion. With Chili, his biggest problem was to make him slow down so they could actually show off his pretty nice gaits. And well when you had to fight against your horse rushing through everything all the time there wasn't really any brain power left to be conscious of your own seat and posture.
But a perfect seat and posture would not get this mare moving.
He tried a third time with a bit more insistence. Still nothing.
Well at this rate he would only improve his posture and nothing else.
Maybe he got a bit too used to his firecracker of a stallion.
Hopefully, he wouldn't have to relearn how to ride a more normal horse.
