Inspired! I feel this is a good idea. The concept is good and you were good with the name "Armedallion" (armadillo-medallion). I also have a good alternative name that fits more that is "Armordillo" (armor-armadillo). As for the design I think instead of armor plates you should design it as scale-mail. The scales should be a bronze color and the inner body be a light brown. As for the claws be a golden color. Species - Iron mouse, Description - Having to deal with extremely harsh mountain conditions, it has metal scales capable of withstanding tons worth of pressure and claws able to break apart near any mineral. I also even had a though for the shining form being shiny dark grey scales, light grey body, and silver claws. Ether way great job on this and if you want to chat on this feel free to message me.

Sanshrew is my favorite Pokemon...ever...and you just gave me a reason to love it more. This is gorgeous! You have an amazing talent, really. Love the shiny version, it really makes the metallic/steel aspect come alive!
