Oh no! Your e-feelings! I'll call Whine-one-one to have the Whambulances on standby!Seriously folks, before you whine about someone reposting your Sonic "OC", check yourself. When you downloaded those games and movies, you stole somebody's intellectual property.
Also, if you don't want someone critiquing you or making "hate art" (really just parodies of your "art", you should be flattered not offended) don't post things on a public site, just put them on Facebook for your friends and family.
Remember, this is the internet, people who say "mean" things can't do any physical harm to you and probably are worse off than you are.

Uh well, the difference is between those things are, art theft is claiming a piece of art as you're own, and illegally downloading movies and music doesn't mean you go around saying you wrote and sang the song or directed the movie (and please, don't correct my grammar, I'm tired)

I draw this one character a lot, he's based off of another character, so I don't really claim him as my own, only the design and background story (because I had to make one up and branch off of it, this character only had the "here and now" part of his story, but I keep everything already established in tact), and I found someone who was drawing him also. She didn't tell me, but in the description, she credited me for his design, and I wasn't insulted at all. I was just glad someone liked my idea.
And people who say that something is stolen often steal too, often claiming, "But I didn't know!"

making up new characters for stuff like sonic/star trek/ whatever..is a pretty mindless activity to begin with. I can see it if when you're a little kid,
I interviewed three people in their early twenties about two months ago for a story board artist. Two girls, one guy. The guy showed up with pics of "my little pony" seriously.. to an interview. He wore a tie and everything. Guess who DIDN'T
get the job..;0

I wouldn't expect anything less from this site, real artist don't really post things online, they post it on the walls of abandoned buildings for no one to see or sculpt it in an area where it will get confused with the surrounding trash.
