This will be two pages in total.
Experimenting with just flatting for comic stuff. IDK.
I just realized I hadn't drawn anything actually romance-like with these two since December 2010. (And very little with them both in the same picture in a non-combat context in general.)
Sooooo, fixing that. This takes place in the Silver and Scarlet universe, and all three flashback scenes here are things that have been directly mentioned in the story at one point or another.

i was thinking of this work again this morning. i had something more erudite to say. what was it...?
i think it was that... i guess i had been focussing on tannusen's physical abuse and pain, and i never really thought about the emotional side. but looking at this, now... yeah, i'm starting to see another side, another facet.

Haha, yeah, and then add in the darkspawn taint fucking with his mind / the knowledge of what that's going to do to him. And THEN add in Danarius screwing with his only means of protecting himself / hunting him. And THEEEEN add in that I'm evil enough that his darkspawn taint has been advancing rapidly.
The boy's got reasons for being a little crazy.

It's a bit of dialogue I've had in mind for them for a long time, but it's never made its way into any of the actual fills. So it gets to be a short comic instead.
