As one might imagine, Covet doesn't have a particularly positive self-image! They are full of desire for the things that others have - including the word focuses of other Paralogos - but in their envy, often fail to acknowledge the numerous experiences and qualities that lead to others having what they do or being where they are in life.
This internal state is mirrored quite directly by their ability to pin objects to their body: turning themself into pale, ephemeral reflections of the powerful or beautiful words they covet. Their caretaker - the same as Tsundoku's, in fact - is quite wealthy, allowing them to indulge this habit heedless of its negative impacts: in this case, buying large quantities of IRL flowers.
I think they have some moments of clarity about the true extent to which comparison is the thief of joy - but not many at this wisdom tier!

Thank you so much! Covet's word and character are based around a lot of similar emotions I myself am trying to overcome, so it was quite easy to write! Not to mention, a good excuse to make something ~aesthetic~

They should use fake flowers they would last longer but then it wouldn't be AUTHENTIC
