I used some of these pieces to make a quicky draft of what the final version might look something like (I plan on doing much better versions in the future though obviously)

At last I finally have some drafts of my OC Cain's new battle form's armor.

While none of these are the finished product they are just to give people a basic idea of what I had in mind.
All of these were drawn traditionally and then edited abit digitally, afew of them I only drew half of and then copied and flipped the other side which is why they look kind of weird.

The design I came up with in my head looks far better then these.
These designs were somewhat inspired by several of these concepts:

Cain's armor is formed of solidified dark energy and his own blood. As Cain is a powerful shape shifting, god-like entity his armor also has shape shifting powers and can vary in appearance under certain circumstances, to suit Cain's needs or just for the purpose of "fashion". It can "liquefy" becoming tendrils similar to the Venom Symbiote from Spiderman or Alex Mercer's Biomass from Prototype, it can also occasionally give off a red glow similar to Alex Mercer or Dante's Devil Trigger from Devil May Cry 2

Image 5 shows a different variation of wings that Cain can sprout while in this form. Usually Cain's wings are large black wings with yellowish membrane which resemble typical bat/demon wings, these red colored ones are much smaller then usual but allow Cain to fly even faster, they unfortunately cannot be used to shield him from Attacks like his larger ones can. He can choose either type or afew other variations if he so desires.

As you can see from image 6 I decided to give him boots almost identical to Sebastian's demon form from Black Butler because Sebastian is a sex god nuff said <.<

Despite the fact that it looks very light the armor is actually almost completely black, it just looks different because I did it with pencil and my scanner sucks.

That ragged cloth-like material on designs 2 and 4 was somewhat inspired by Ulquiorra's Segunda Etapa but I don't feel strongly about it so it probably will be scrapped in the final design, perhaps being including in a different variation.

1. I like the texture look I gave the armor on design 1 and the legs look alright but i'm not much of a fan of the lower arms and the spike-like parts on his shoulders don't look right.

2. I like the shoulder "spikes" but it looks way too light and doesn't have the cool looking texture like design one.

3. The only part I really prefer about this version is the red on the ab armor.

4. My least favorite version, might look better if I would have edited it and added color.

I will have more info soon and hopefully the finished product in the near future.
