Description
So here is my design for the next round. Let me explain why there are two dolls.
After all the choices, the set left to me was the 18th one from this picture .
I liked the colours, but at first I could not think of what to do with them, since these colours were associated to iris flower to me. And I had already done iris in this game before... Anyway, I just started adding random D&D and looking if they look good and here is the result. Taking into account that I used Lirelanta as model, it turned out into a kind of Ydnelian summer outfit, probably featuring one of local forest plants. My favourite part is the tattoes at her arms and around the neck.
And naturally I could not help making an outfit for the 17th colour set!
The model for this set is not Lirelanta, but as Eolewyn1010 rightly pointed out one day, these two are quite like each other.
However the main thing is that she is the protagonist of the own story of mine where I took the idea for this set. The combination of green, silver and black, along with seashells and leafy branches, belong to a coat of arms of one family from that story, so I made her a kind of formal outfit featuring its colours and patterns. And no, this is not a royal outfit, it is just that ermine fur is a part of noblemen's coronets (including the duke's one). Also as ash tree is one of the symbols of that family, I added its leaves to the border.

Ah, she's really natural and beautiful.
So she's a barefooter I take it.

Thank you very much ! I am glad that you like her!
I assume you meant the left one, since they are two different persons .
But as to her, she simply likes comfortable clothes and shoes. Of course she does not wear sandals like this at winter (it is just that I was lazy to search for another backgrounds than the in-game snowy one). But like the most people in her world, she feels close to the nature.

I love this. The first one is very spring and kind of fairy-like, while the second looks very formal and aristocratic.

Thank you very much !
I am so glad that you like them!
And I am glad that you call the green-and-white dress "aristocratic", because that is exactly what it is really meant to be, a formal outfit for an official portrait of a member of one noble family from my favourite own story.

These are both SOOO pretty! I love the light, airiness of the first one. It looks like something someone would wear on a late spring day in a field of wildflowers. And the second one is very stunning. It looks very regal and beautiful, and I'm also admiring the alterations you made to the dress to give it that extra overskirt and make it look so natural.

I am so glad that you like them!
The first one has some shades of your favourite colours.
And the one on the right - I just had to make it look decent! It is based on an outfit from my own story, so I made "the alterations to the dress" to get the right time period and style.

In the violet and green one I like the skirt pattern too (although it was that random D&D thing what I told about).
And the dress on the right - I just could not help making it good! Because it is actually an attempt to recreate an outfit from my favourite own story, which takes place around early Victorian era, one of my favourite fashion periods.

I haven't finished it yet. Several chapters from the second part and some bits from the first are written (there are supposed to be two books, the second being the main one and the first a kind of prequel), but I'm not sure about publishing it anywhere.
But it is undoubtedly my favourite own story, the largest and most elaborate one I've ever made. It's a romance story about the life of British nobility during Regency and early Victorian era. I miss the gorgeous fashion of that time!
And making pictures of fancy clothes is probably what I am the best at, so I have a gallery of pictures for this story , it is something that you can at least look at .

Wonderful work, both look gorgeous!
The one in the Iris flower colours looks rather light and girly. I love the pattern at the skirt, has a nice flow. Also, the patterns (tattoos?) at her arms and around her neck are delicate. And those golden bits you used for the decoration are magnificent, glowing like sparklers.
The green-white dress is much more regal, looks more heavy to wear. I love the elegant pattern at the underskirt. The overdress is interesting, I think it's rather unusual to use two different coloured kinds of fur. But it does look good. Also, pretty work with the shells and the tiara.

Thank you very much !
You are so kind! But I am truly very glad that you like them!
The first dress was rather a random work, but I think it turned out quite nice in the end.
Yes, the patterns at her arms and around the neck are tattoos and my favourite part of the outfit .
As to the "golden bits", they were meant to be like the little beards of bearded iris. But in this outfit I believe they became a kind of inflorescences with luminescent pollen (I adore bioluminescence, so why not? ).
With regard to the green-and-silvery dress, I am so glad that you like it!
You are right about that it looks more heavy, it is meant to be a formal outfit with overskirt made of velvet; the only activity suitable for such an attire is sitting for an official portrait . Which makes sense perfectly, since this dress is actually an embodiment of a coat of arms. That is why I used black fur along with ermine - at that coat of arms, the white seashells are placed on a black band (to tell the truth, it looks too thick in comparison to the rest of the overskirt, but it is because I made the seashells too big at the beginning, and they should be placed on the band exactly in this way).
Also, probably you will be able to tell who is the model?

It's Anne Hayle, I guess. You have a thing for making your heroines pretty brunettes with soft features, have you not?
By the way, I actually made one dress for EACH of the 18 colour combos you gave. Well, my versions for 17th and 18th do not look half as good as yours. But I also chose entirely different styles. Not sure if I should publish these dresses - do you think it would offend the other participants?

Exactly! It was on 25 days challenge picture of hers when you said that she and Lirelanta are like each other.
Also you are right about my tendency for making female protagonists brunettes. Usually they have chestnut, brown, auburn or black hair, while redheads and blondes are either sidekicks/friends/side characters or villains. Although probably it is rather natural seeing that I am a brunette myself.
In fact I have only four blonde female OCs who are more or less main characters, two of them are elves and two other have the shapeshifting ability and appear brunettes at some moments during the story (e.g. Lirelanta prefers to be a brunette the most of time). On the other hand these two belong to the race of blonde-headed people with supernatural abilities while the rest of people in their world has dark hair and no special powers.
Oh, I would be glad to see your attempts at the other sets! Since they are free to use, there is nothing wrong in that you made something out of their colours/patterns. However if you do not feel yourself sure enough to post your pictures to dA, you could at least submit them to your Sta.sh and show me (Please! I want to see your designs so much! They are always so intricate and original!)

I'm glad that you agree! The more various designs, the better! Especially from so talented people as Eolewyn1010 !
By the way, another friend of mine promised to make her design for the set you chose, the 13th one. She liked it because of the colours (purple and green are her favourites) and like you, due to steampunk spirit.

I am glad that you like the shells. Actually they are very easy to do: five icicles, each after two rotations, and below them two glass drops.
