Excelsior is one of my favorite ships.
Mind you, this paint job isn't quite the same as the directions in my model kit called for, but it's quite close.

The Excelsior series kicks ass - good subject choice.
The shape of the saucer looks odd to me on the edges though - but maybe that's just because I'm used to seeing the older model....

Amazing model and texture. A texture without a model is nothing, a model without a texture is nothing, but this is just plain awsome (though it looks a bit 3D). May be try adding some bump mapping and some noise to the model to make this look more life like. You might even try brushing some dirt on the texture, making it look like she's seen quite a bit of the Alpha quadrant
Btw, I wasn't aware there is an Excelsior NCC-2000...
