This is William Hartnell, the first actor to play the Doctor in "Doctor Who". The first Doctor was often quite testy and grumpy. When the show first started in 1963 it was only supposed to go for about six weeks. Acrylic on illustration board.Related content

Nice job!
The original commission/budget for Doctor Who was 12 weeks, that's why they added The Edge of Destruction rather than going from The Daleks direct to Marco Polo.
