Daaaang, that is good. The Ninth Doctor is definitely one of my favorites. I am really amazed by the level of detail here, especially on his hair. You can even see the light reflecting off every strand. Well done!

I actually preferred him over the 10th Doctor. Great likeness, I especially like the highlights on the leather and the hair. Was the background done in a different medium than the subject?

Thanks for the comment. I did the whole picture in acrylic, but I used an airbrush for the background.

I thought that looked like airbrushing. Thank you for the reply. You have a style of painting which is at once both highly distinctive as well as realistic.
