We got another journal with more lore for my comic book universe that STILL needs a name
Today, we'll be looking at the organizations and groups that either benefit or threaten our world!

Organizations:

The Humanity Defense Agency (H.D.A.): When threats to America are far bigger than our normal government can handle, the H.D.A. is there to help protect the nation and the world without hesitation. Founded in 1938, the H.D.A. is currently directed by Commander Gabriel Hamilton and has been recruiting new agents ever since, both normal and superpowered. The H.D.A. has different divisions across the globe, including ones in Russia, China, Vietnam, Japan, Iraq, etc. The H.D.A. is a very secretive facility, and continues to stay in the dark to avoid public suspicion.

The Department of Extraterrestrial Negotiations (D.E.N.): What the H.D.A. does for the people of Earth, the D.E.N. does the same with those from beyond the stars. Founded on July 8th, 1947, the organization has made it their mission to not just protect Earth from alien threats, but also act as a way to help alien refugees who have lost their worlds or to create alliances with powerful otherworldly races. The D.E.N. is run by Captain Venus Kane, who controls the D.E.N. with an iron fist but a soft heart as well. The main base is located in Roswell, New Mexico, but they've begun to branch out and set up locations in Maryland, Texas, California, and even in Washington D.C.

Gene Corps: Probably the most well known, even if it's their false image that's public. Gene Corps poses as a medical facility, creating super drugs and new forms of medicine to help cure diseases, but underneath the disguise is a darker truth. Led by Director Heimlich Von Krause, Gene Corps is a dangerous facility that performs illegal genetic experiments on animals and people, mostly through force. It doesn't matter what the test subject is to Gene Corps; men, women, and even children undergo the experiments of this place, as Von Krause believes it is a way to keep the human race strong and thriving.

Jupiter Industries: A famous place of innovation and imagination, Jupiter Industries is the place you go to find the greatest creations for a bright tomorrow. The company was founded and is currently operated by the youngest CEO ever known, Kevin Kisgrove, at age 18. Jupiter Industries specializes in weapons manufacturing, robotics, harmless experiments for uncovering new energy sources, etc. Though not a very old company (formed in 2005), Jupiter Industries looks like it will stand the test of time and help change the world, one invention at a time.

Lazarus Tech: A multi-million dollar example of the ego of Dr. Kilo Lazarus aka the Overbearer. Lazarus Tech is most known for creating cybernetics for the handicapped and powerful weapons for defense. Even though Kilo is a villain known among the superheroes, even he has business ethics never to cross and would never indulge in anything that involves hurting children. With many branches across the nation, Lazarus Tech is a bright and shiny kingdom hiding a tyrant.

Groups & Cults:

Children of Inferno: A dangerous cult you never want to face. Led by a masked individual known only as Father, Father has created a following of the lost and helpless and swears to help them find salvation. However, his idea of salvation is to bring Belial to the mortal realm and punish humanity for their crimes. The Children of Inferno subject into everything deemed worthy of Belial, from live sacrifices to allowing themselves to be burned with "the fires of the 7th Realm of Night." No matter what stops them, this cult won't rest until their salvation comes to give them utopia.

The Imperials: The U.S. and China have been somewhat allies for many years, but the group known as the Imperials wants to change that. Led by Ping Zhou, most known in China as the One-Eyed Dragon, this group deems America as a destructive force that ruined their homeland and vows to destroy it. The Imperials are experts in espionage, sabotage, and even war strategy, making them highly dangerous foes to face.

Followers of the Serpent: A terrorist group that has taken the Middle East in a state of fear. The Followers of the Serpent are led by the religious enforcer Kobra and make it their mission to convert the entire Middle East to their views or face destruction. The Followers are xenophobic to anyone outside their country and hate anything that doesn't share their views. Formidable and unpredictable, the Followers of the Serpent are NO laughing matter.

The Dark Chi Empire: For those with dark chi or know Kid Werewolf well, they've certainly heard the malevolent Argost boast about the power of his Dark Chi Empire. Located in the underground, feudal Chinese city known as Underworld, Argost rules this realm with an iron fist in his marvelous palace. Underworld is dark and dangerous, filled to the brim with various Dark Chi Monsters who aren't afraid to attack intruders. Even though trapped in the dark, Argost vows to one day have Underworld rise and use it at the capital of his takeover of the surface.
