Ansel Adams used to love clouds for the emotion that they could lend to his photos, I personally really like the clouds in this shot, it adds emotion to what otherwise might've been a casual snapshot. I also really like the two people in the upper right corner, adds a sense of scale to the falls.
Of course, that's just me talking and I'm no photographer, but I like this shot a lot.

I'm no photographer either, and yes it was a casual snapshot. And I'll tell you a little secret, it took me a while to find the people you said, I must confess that I never saw them.
And I dont hate the clouds, I hated the fact that the sun was covered with them...

Well, whatever the case it turned out pretty nice, I'd say that you have an okay eye for photography.
