Most of the mane? I drew all of it. If you check out the original horse image (the non-stock one) you can see a definite difference. I lopped all the original mane off when I first cropped the horse out of the picture.

Months, but it wasn't anything consistant. The picture frustrated me a lot, so there were times where I'd go a few weeks without working on it. And others were I'd work on it and my computer would bluescreen me, so I'd lose everything I did... because I'm a doofus and forgot to save while working.

All in all there's probably 20ish straight hours of work in this picture. Not much in comparison to months.
