Not so long ago, I submitted a painting called « amoureux », through which I expelled my hatred for love, a feeling I have for long believed to be the worst a lone man can experiment. But slowly, the claws of love kept me under the shadow of the upcoming storm of Longing, something so dark, so gloomy, I have yet to accept it. The way such an emotion can plunge one into utter darkness is downright evil; and shows the weakness of humans. The way a mere word, a mere memory can make one fall in the abysses of despair and pierce one’s soul with a shiver so cold it burns, makes me wish for the blessing of oblivion; however, longing is just a limbo, a long, deserted path one comes across when all hope has been lost, yet, healing has not begun. And thus the hope of forgetting what pushed me into this abyss is too far away to be reached.

this time again, the picture doesn't do the painting justice and blablablabla.... you get the point. My first time painting with a knife, a technique I must say I quite like. this beauty will replace "the raven and the sun" behind my bed.
